Six weeks of roadworks near Mountbellew will disrupt traffic on the N63 when they get underway this month.
Galway County Council is carrying out road improvement works on the N63 between Ballynahowna and Ballinlass.
The works are scheduled to last from Thursday, October 27 though to Thursday, December 8.
In order to facilitate these roadworks, the stretch of road in question with be closed from 10am on October 27, until 2pm on December 8.
Motorists should divert west of Mountbellew at Marless Junction onto the R365, exiting back onto the N63 north east of the town.
Signage will be in place for the diversion during these works, the county council has said.
