Traffic disruption is expected between Galway City and Oranmore for two days this week due to roadworks taking place.
Colas Contracting Ltd are carrying out drainage works on the R446 dual carriageway on behalf of the county council this Monday & Tuesday.
The works will take place from the roundabout at the Maldron Hotel Oranmore towards the Martin roundabout at the Galway Clinic.
In order to facilitate these works, lane closures will be in place from 9am to 5:30pm each day.
As a consequence users of this road are requested to expect traffic delays and as such should allow additional time for their journeys.
