Overnight road closures will be in place on the M17 and M18 motorways tonight due to planned works taking place.
The M18 southbound will be closed between Junction 18 Rathmorrisey, near Athenry, and Junction 17 Kiltiernan.
The County Council has also said that the M17 motorway will be closed from Junction 19 Annagh Hill, to Junction 18 where it meets the M18 and M6.
Both closures will be signposted, with diversions in place for motorway traffic overnight.
The period of the closures will be from 9pm tonight until 6am on Thursday morning at both location.
These dual closures follow on from overnight works which have been taking place on the M17 since Monday.
