Nightly road closures will be in place at the railway crossing near Woodlawn for the coming week.
Galway County Council has ordered the R359 road at the Woodlawn Station rail crossing closed to allow for maintenance works.
Essential track maintenance and level crossing works are taking place in the area.
The closures will be in effect nightly between 9pm and 8am from Monday, November 29 to Sunday, December 5.
Traffic travelling from the R348 towards Woodlawn Station will use the alternative route along the R348 to Kilconnell turning left onto the L7423, followed by another left onto the L3401 to Ballymacward.
Traffic travelling from L3401 towards Woodlawn Station will use the alternative route along L3401 followed by a right turn onto the L7423 into Kilconnell and onto the R348.
