The M6 motorway eastbound near Ballinasloe is closed until 9pm today for essential repair roadworks.
Resurfacing works are taking place on the motorway near Junction 14 Ballinasloe in order to allow a lane to reopen.
In order to facilitate these works, the eastbound motorway is closed today between Junctions 13 & 14.
The works are currently scheduled to last until 9pm on Monday.
Diversions are in place at the affected are of road.
