Part of the M17 Gort to Tuam motorway will be closed today and tomorrow while repair works are taking place in the vicinity of Annagh Hill.
The county council has notified that repair works are to be carried out on two safety barriers, one northbound and one southbound.
While these works are taking place, all traffic will be diverted up and over Junction 19 Annagh Hill to rejoin the motorway.
Today, the northbound lane will be closed from 11am to 3pm, with the southbound lane closed for the same period on Thursday.
The closures will be manned during these times, to see people properly diverted to the diversion routes.
