Four weeks of nightly roadworks on the N6 Bothar na dTreabh in Galway City will get underway today.
Galway City Council is carrying road resurfacing works on Bothar na dTreabh between the Kirwan Roundabout and the Tuam Road junction.
The roadworks, which get underway on Monday night, are scheduled to take four weeks to complete.
Works will take place from 8pm to 7am each night, with a stop and go system in place to control traffic.
Motorists are urged to proceed with caution during this period as Traffic Management will be in operation at all times.
