Traffic disruption is expected when passing through Oranmore this week with three days of roadworks getting underway this morning.
Galway County Council is carrying out emergency roadworks on the R446, Dual Carriageway.
The roadworks are taking place between the two roundabouts at the Maldron Hotel and Oranmore Maree GAA Club.
The works are getting underway this morning and are expected to last for three days until the afternoon of Friday, February 16.
To facilitate these works a Temporary Traffic management system will be in place for the duration of the works from 9:30am to 4pm each day.
As a consequence, users of this road are requested to expect delays and as such should allow additional time for their journeys.
