Separate status yellow warning for wind and high rainfall have been issued for Galway and the West coast for Friday.
Met Eireann has said that Munster and Connacht will experience winds of 50-65km/hr from Friday morning into the early afternoon, with gusts as strong as 110km/hr.
The yellow wind warning applies from 4am on Friday morning until 3pm that afternoon.
A heavy rainfall warning has also been issued for 12 counties including Galway for most of Friday.
Between 6am and 6pm tomorrow, Met Eireann is predicting between 25mm and 40mm of rain, with more likely in mountainous areas.

The status yellow warning applies to Galway, Mayo, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Waterford, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford, and Wicklow.
