The search for a missing man has been stood down after a body was discovered yesterday.
Fergal Guilfoyle had been missing since December 15 when he was last seen in the Newcastle Road area of Galway City.
Gardaí issued a renewed appeal last week for the missing 43-year-old who had then been missing for two weeks.
But the search has now been stood down after the discovery of a body on Sunday.
