Traffic disruption is expected in the Gort area today due to roadworks taking place.
Galway County Council is carrying out resurfacing overlay works on the R458 between Gort and Crusheen.
The roadworka on the R458 at Carheeny More are expected to take one day to complete.
In order to facilitate these works temporary traffic management will be in place on the sections of the R458 in question.
As a consequence, users of this road are requested to expect delays and as such should allow additional time for their journeys.
