Repairs have been completed on a burst water mains in Moylough which was causing outages in multiple areas today.
Customers in Moylough, Cooloo and the surrounding area south of Gordon’s Cross were affected by the significant burst.
However, repairs are now complete, and a normal water supply is returning to all customers.
Uisce Éireann’s Justin Doran thanked those affected for their support and acknowledged the inconvenience caused by interruptions to the water supply.
“we very much appreciated our customers’ co-operation while our crews worked to carry out the repairs.”
“The network is replenishing but it may take a number of hours before a normal supply is returned to all, especially those at the end of the network or on higher ground.”
