A popular hotel in Galway City is seeking to expand its offerings for customers with the addition of a coffee shop.
The Harbour Hotel is seeking planning permission to convert an approved ground floor retail unit/sales office to a coffee shop.
Documents submitted with the planning application note that it will operate in association with the adjoining hotel.
They also state that no extra parking space is needed, as the required levels are the same for the two uses.
A decision is due from Galway City Council on this planning application by February 2 of the coming year.
