Planning permission is being sought for the conversion of a vacant property on the waterfront in Salthill to a restaurant and bakery.
Approval is being sought from the city council for the change of permitted use of part of the property at 3 Waterfront, Salthill Road Upper.
The development would involve changing part of a derelict Bar/Lounge/Restaurant/Holiday Apartment Reception area to a new restaurant and bakery.
Other works would involve minor alterations to the front elevation, along with an external seating area with a retractable awning.
A decision on this planning application is due from Galway City Council by July 14.
