An Bord Pleanála is holding an oral hearing on the Mountbellew sewerage scheme’s compulsory purchase order next month.
Irish Water lodged a compulsory purchase order with An Bord Pleanála in July under the Housing Act.
However objections were raised against the CPO with the planning authority.
An oral hearing on the CPO is scheduled to be held on October 25 at 10am.
It will take place at the Shearwater Hotel in Marina Point, Ballinasloe.
A decision is due from An Bord Pleanála on whether to grant the compulsory purchase order by November 11.
