One person has been hospitalised with serious injuries after a road traffic collision in central Galway which happened this morning.
Gardaà are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision in Abbeyknockmoy village.
The single vehicle collision occurred at approximately 6:20am this morning.
One man has been taken to University Hospital Galway with serious injuries.
The road is currently closed. Local diversions are in place.
