There are almost 500 homes and business in the Claregalway area are without electricity this afternoon due to an outage.
The ESB reported the fault affecting electricity to 456 properties shortly after 3pm this afternoon.
Repairs are underway and have an estimated completion time of 6:45pm this evening.
Galway and all of Connacht remains under a Status Yellow weather warning for heavy winds until 6pm Saturday.
