The N59 between Oughterard and Clifden has reopened after a crash earlier this afternoon sent three people to the hospital.
The road traffic collision happened around midday roughly three kilometres on the Clifden side of Oughterard.
Three people were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The N59 was closed to traffic while emergency services attended the scene with gardaà managing diversions and a stop and go system.
But the road has fully re-opened to traffic in the past half hour.
