Missing Galway city man Roland Mitchell has been found safe and well.
Mitchell (26) of the Fr Griffin road was reported missing by his family, who were said to be deeply concerned.
Roland Mitchell had last been seen at 7pm on Saturday.
Gardaí appealed to the public for any information that might help locate him.
It has now been confirmed that he is safe and well.
A Garda spokesperson said “We wish to thank the public for their assistance on the matter. No further action is required.”
Today also had tragic news as the search for Robert Murray came to an end with the recovery of his body this week in Renmore.
The search is ongoing for Stephen Warde of Kinvara who has been missing in Malaysia since the new year.
Mr Warde’s family in Malaysia to help look for are offering a reward of €4,400 for any information that helps locate him.
