An 80 year old woman reported missing from the Loughrea area since yesterday has been found safe and well after an extensive search.
Marie Lynch was reported missing from her home since approximately 5pm on Saturday.
An extensive search has taken place over the past 24 hours, with GardaÃ, Coast Guard, Civil Defence, and local volunteers searching the area.
Gardaà have confirmed this evening that she has been found safe and well.
An Garda SÃochána thanked the public for their assistance in this matter.
