Middle street in the city will be closing for four days of roadworks in June.
The city council has ordered the street closed to traffic from 7am on Monday, June 17 to 7pm on Thursday, June 20 while Irish Water carries out roadworks.
The utility provider is carrying out sewer rehab works in the area.
Middle Street will be closed from the junction from Cross Street Lower to the Abbeygate Street Upper junction.
Local access will be maintained on the first half of the street up to St Augustine’s church for residents and deliveries.
During the works the direction of traffic on St. Augustine Street will be reversed.
Alternate routes will be signposted by the city council while work is underway.
