Homes and businesses in the Mervue area are experiencing water outages due to a burst water main on the Tuam Road today.
Irish Water have have said that the burst main is causing water outages in Mervue Businesses Park, as well as multiple surrounding neighbourhoods in Mervue.
Repairs were initially expected to be completed by 3:30pm, but Irish Water later said that work had to be rescheduled, and repairs now have an estimated completion time of 5:30pm this evening.
A traffic management plan will be in place while repairs are ongoing.
Residents in the area are advised that it may take 2-3 hours after work has been completed for full water supply to be restored.
