Galway Hospice was recently presented with a cheque for €8,000 raised at a memorial golf event in Loughrea.
The Paula O’Donnell Memorial Golf Am Am supporting Galway Hospice took place at Loughrea Golf Club took place between May 16 – 19 this year.
Paula O’Donnell passed away in the care of the hospice in July 2017.
Prizes at the four day golf event were sponsored by Ballybane Pharmacy where Paula worked.
The golf am am raised a total of €8,000 for the hospice which was presented at the Huntsman Inn in the city this month.
The hospice said on facebook “A big thank you to everyone involved in the Paula O’Donnell Memorial Golf Am Am held in Loughrea Golf Club, which raised a staggering €8,000 for Galway Hospice.”
