McDonald’s fast food chain are bringing burgers to your door in Galway city with their new McDelivery service.
From today, McDonald’s will be delivering its breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus from three participating outlets in the city at Shop Street, the Headford road, and West side.
Speaking about the rollout of the new service, franchisee of Shop Street McDonald’s Aaron Byrne said they’re delighted have new ways to bring food to their customers.
“We know that McDonald’s fans in Galway will be very excited about this launch, as we’ve had lots of questions about it,” he said.
“And now we can finally let them know that McDelivery has arrived. We are delighted to be introducing the McDelivery service, offering yet another level of convenience to our loyal, local customers.”
The McDeliverys service is partnership between McDonalds and UberEATS ridesharing service.
User just have to download the app or go to the UberEATS website and select the McDelivery option.
From there its just a matter of choosing your food and selecting the closest McDonald’s outlet to you.
They will offer delivery to any address with 1.5 miles of the outlet.
Users also have the option to schedule the food delivery and the order will be charged to the same card used for Uber.
