The man who was tragically killed in a farming accident in Gort on Tuesday has been named locally as John Hansberry.
A note on RIP.ie reads that John will be sadly missed by his beloved brother Michael, sisters Mary (UK), Peggy (Limerick), Joan (UK), Honor (Ballinasloe), and Rita (USA).
He will also be missed by his brother-in-law Padraic, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral arrangements are to follow.
