Gardaí have detained one person in Ballinasloe after seizing cocaine estimated to be worth €13,000.
A man in his 20s was stopped and searched in Ballinasloe town last night at approximately 9:30pm and was found in possession of cocaine.
He is currently being questioned at Ballinasloe garda station.
The man is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act of 1984.
