NUI Galway Cancer Society will hold its 3rd Annual Charity Boxing event, ‘Box in Pink’, on March 21st.

Students from multiple disciplines within NUI Galway have teamed up with a goal of raising money for breast cancer research in mind.

The funds raised from the event will go to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, a national charity that funds a comprehensive research program at the Lambe Institute, NUI Galway.

The students have been training for weeks under well-known coach, Stephen Molloy. Stephen is the father of Kieran Molloy, the holder of the National Elite Champion title for two years running.

Tickets for ‘Box in Pink’ are €15 each and available from NUIG’s SocsBox or on the door at the Galmont Hotel on the night.
