Repairs taking place to the water mains network in Newcastle may cause water supply disruptions for four days this week.
Irish Water will be carrying out mains repairs on the Upper Newcastle Road in Galway City from Tuesday to Friday, October 27 – 30.
The works, which make up part of Irish Water’s National Leaks Reduction Programme, are scheduled to take place from 9am to to 6pm each day.
While work is taking place, it may cause disruptions to the water supply to homes and businesses on the Upper Newcastle Road and surrounding areas of the city.
People affected by this are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is completed for their full water supply to be restored.
Updates on both situations can be found on Irish Water’s Supply and Service website page, or by contacting Irish Water’s twitter account @IWCare.
