Galway Daily news overnight water outages

Intermittent water outages are expected in parts of Oranmore and Tuam until Thursday this week.

Irish Water is carrying out mains flushing works in to clear out the water network in both towns this week, which may cause water outages or other disruptions.

The works will affect properties in Cloonarkin Drive, Oranmore as well as Palace Fields, Tuam and surrounding areas.

The works in Tuam are taking place from 9am to 4pm, while the Oranmore works start at the same time, but will continue until 5pm.

People affected by these are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is completed each day before their full water supply is restored.
