Two lucky Lotto players in Galway and Roscommon have just over a month to claim their unclaimed prizes after matching five numbers on Christmas Day.
Both players bought their lucky tickets on 24 December, and matched five to win €22,778 each, but neither player has come forward to claim their prizes.
The ticket holder in Galway bought their ticket at Mannion’s Supermarkets & Emo Service Station on the Miltown Road in Tuam, while the Roscommon player’s ticket was purchased at Mulvihill’s Newsagents on the Main Street in Castlerea.
Ticket holders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prizes which means that the claim deadline for the two outstanding prizes is close of business on Friday 25 March 2022.
The winning Lotto numbers for the Saturday 25 December 2021 draw were: 11, 17, 19, 23, 26, 43 and the bonus 31.
A National Lottery spokesperson has urged Lotto players in Galway and Roscommon to check their old tickets as soon as possible to ensure that they do not miss out on claiming their prizes.
“While the Christmas Day Lotto draw saw 36 players nationwide match five numbers each to share a boosted prize fund worth over €820,000 due to the capped Lotto jackpot, we are yet to hear from two of the lucky winners,” the spokesperson said.
“We are appealing to players in Galway and Roscommon who purchased their tickets on Christmas Eve for the Christmas Day draw to carefully check their tickets to ensure that they do not miss out on claiming either of these prizes which are worth €22,778 each.
“If you are either of these lucky winners, you should sign the back of your ticket and keep it safe. You can contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for you to claim your prize. Don’t forget that the final date to claim these prizes is close of business on Friday 25th March.”
