A juvenile was taken to hospital after a road traffic collision in Galway City on Wednesday afternoon.
Gardaà and emergency services attended the scene of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian today.
The collision occurred on the Western Distributor Road in the city at approximately 3pm.
The pedestrian, a juvenile, was taken to University Hospital Galway with injuries which are believed to be non life-threatening Gardaà have said..
The road remains open following the collision, Gardaà confirmed.
