Plans have been lodged with Galway County Council for the construction of 14 houses on the western edge of Tuam town.
Coffey Construction Ltd is seeking planning permission for a residential development with a mix of detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses at Carrigweir, Tuam.
The site on the Weir Road is currently a vacant patch of grassy land adjacent to existing housing estate at Carrigweir.
The proposed development would consist of 4 detached, two-storey houses; 4 semi-detached, two-storey units; and 6 terraced, single-storey homes divided into two blocks.
Galway County Council is due to make a decision on this planning application by September 13.
