Galway county council has ordered a road in the village of Glenamaddy closed for two weeks next month to allow for roadworks.
Roadworks will take place on the R362 Creggs Road, in Glenamaddy from Monday, September 16 to Sunday, September 29.
An existing foul sewer section to the junction with the R364 Kilkerrin road is being decommissioned and replaced.
In order to facilitate this work the county council has ordered the R363 closed from Garveys Pharmacy to the Medical Centre.
Submissions concerning this temporary road closure can be made in writing to the Director of Services, Infrastructure and Operations unit at the county council until 4pm on Friday, August 23.
