Gardaí arrested a man in his 60s on Monday afternoon after seizing cannabis, cash and tobacco at a house in Galway city.
The Galway Divisional Drugs Unit seized over €20,000 of cannabis, more than €3,500 worth of tobacco and €2,650 in cash during the search of the property.
The drugs are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
The man has been released without charge, and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí say investigations are continuing.
