Galway truckers feature in a new documentary series which starts tonight (7 March) on TG4.
Truckers na h-Éireann, starting at 9.30pm, outlines the lives of dedicated people working in Ireland’s haulage industry.
The series aims to show what draws people to the challenging industry and what keeps them hooked once they’re in it.
Time pressure is always a huge factor, and the number of young men entering the industry is going down.
Among the Truckers featured are Aodan MacDonncha and Marty Mannion from An Cheathrú Rua and Paul Kelly from Tuirín.
