Tens of thousands of people are expected to flock to the City of Tribes next week for the Galway Races, and Irish rail are adding additional train services to cope with the demand.
The Galway Races run for seven days from Monday, July 29 to Sunday, August 4 this year. And as always there are extensive public transport preparations being made to shuttle visitors to and from Ballybrit Racecourse.
People arriving by train at Ceannt Station can avail of the direct shuttle bus being run from Eyre Square straight to and from the Racecourse every 15 minutes as required.
