The Dough Bros in Galway City is included at number 27 in the new guide of the best pizzerias in the continent by well-known travel website Big 7 Travel.
The pizzeria on Middle Street is famous in the city for its Neapolitan-style pizza, topped with Italian and local Irish salami and cheese.
They have mastered the art of woodfired pizza in the restaurant – and they even expanded during the pandemic to offer DIY pizza kits for those craving their pizza fix at home.
Unsurprisingly, the number one spot on the list was reserved for a pizzeria in Naples – the home of pizza itself.
Pizzeria Da Michele is popular with locals and tourists, and while there are sometimes queues, they are well worth the wait.
