Gardaí are on the hunt for a giant pencil which was stolen from outside a pub in Galway city last night.
Two pencils, which are part of Cúirt Festival of Literature, were stolen from outside Carroll’s Bar on Dominick Street on Tuesday night.
One of the pencils was since found, but the festival has called for the other to be returned sharpish, amusingly offering the culprit a free drink in the pub as a reward.
The Cúirt Festival of Literature continues until 10 April.
