A cheque for €11,577 was presented by Andrew and Mary Coen with their Granddaughter Sinéad Flanagan to Prof. Michael Kerin and Dr Róisín Dwyer of the Breast Cancer Research funded research team at the Lambe Institute for Translational Research, NUI Galway.
The money was raised from a Memorial Breast Cancer Research Fundraiser in memory of Mary and Andrew’s Daughter and Sinéad’s mum, Ann Marie.
The event was held at O’Sullivans Hotel, Gort and featured the legendary Tulla Céilí Band.
