Parking will be free at multiple towns across Galway county over the Christmas period from Saturday.
Free public parking will be available at Athenry, Ballinasloe, Cleggan, Clifden, Gort, Loughrea and Tuam
From tomorrow, Saturday December 15 at 11am, areas that are normally public pay parking in these towns will be free.
Galway County Council have announced this free holiday parking will continue up to December 24.
