Men’s Health Week will take place from 12 to 18 June, with an overall aim of raising awareness of preventable health problems for men of all ages.
Healthy Galway City and Galway City Council Housing Social Services will be hosting an event to celebrate the week on Thursday, 15 June from 1pm to 4.30pm in Áras na nGael on Dominick Street.
This multi-agency event will promote holistic health and wellbeing for men and will include careers advice, heart health checks, information and advice on health and wellbeing, mental health resources, CV and training workshops and much more.
People are invited to go along and avail of a variety of free resources and information to support health and wellbeing available in the community.
Men’s Health Week is funded by HSE Health & Wellbeing and the Public Health Agency and coordinated by the Men’s Health Forum Ireland (MHFI).
