Traffic on the N63 is being disrupted by emergency works being carried out today between Horselead Cross and Abbeyknockmoy.
The emergency works are being carried out by Galway County Council following a road traffic incident last Friday.
A truck overturned into a ditch on the N63 there on Friday, but fortunately no-one was injured in the incident.
Gardaí closed the road for several hours at the time, but it reopened the same day.
The road is down to one lane of traffic this afternoon, and a stop and go system will be in place until 5pm this evening.
