Emergency services recover body from water at Salmon Weir Bridge

A person’s body was recovered from the water in Galway City by the Salmon Weir Bridge earlier today.

Gardaí said that a person’s body was discovered at the Salmon Weir Bridge in the afternoon of Monday, February 15.

It was recovered from the water by Gardaí and Fire Services.

Investigations are ongoing An Garda Síochána said.
