Emergency services were called to a house fire at Ballyconneely in Connemara this morning.

Gardaí were alerted to the house fire at Ballyconneely at approximately 7:45am this morning.

A Garda spokesperson said that there was no one in the house at the time of the incident.

The scene is being preserved and investigations are ongoing.
