Holy Rosary College secondary school in Mountbellew has submitted plans to the county council for an expansion to increase its capacity.
The school’s Board of Management is seeking planning permission for the construction of a single storey building containing two new classrooms.
The gross floor space of the proposed works is 100sqm.
Galway County Council is due to make a decision on this planning application by March 7.
Holy Rosary College is a Catholic secondary school at Treanrevagh, Mountbellew which has been a co-educational school since 1965.
