Family Carers Ireland, Galway were delighted to be presented with a cheque for €800 yesterday, Friday 25th May, by St Raphael’s College, Loughrea to provide support for carers in the local area.
€524 was raised by students of the school through their Blind Date Fundraiser while the balance of €276 was donated by the Parents’ Association.

Family Carers Ireland, Galway will host their annual Health Fair & Pamper Day in Lough Rea Hotel & Spa on Monday 11th June (11am – 3pm) with a similar event taking place in the Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam on Wednesday 13th June, 2018 (11am – 3pm) to celebrate National Carers Week 2018.
Admission is free and all carers, and former carers, are invited to attend and avail of information, advice and some well-deserved pampering.
