The demolition of a house at the junction between Bridge Street and Abbey Row in Athenry is planned to begin next week.
The works will be carried out by Frank Higgins Ltd. Demolition Contractors and they are expected to be completed within two weeks.
Galway County Council has said that while every effort has been made to minimise the impact of the planned works, pedestrian and vehicular traffic may experience some minor delays within the immediate vicinity of the site.
