A decision is due from Galway county council next week on whether to grant planning permission for six new homes in Dunmore.
Homes for Dunmore have applied for permission to build six houses on an unused plot of land in the north Galway village.
The six, single-storey homes would be grouped into three blocks of semi-detached houses.
The 1-bed houses were designed by Conor Hayes Consulting Engineers of Kiltormer, Ballinasloe.
A decision was originally due from the county council on whether to grant permission for development in September.
But on September 18 that deadline was pushed back to Friday, December 7 next week.
