The 2022 Croí Night Run raised €82,000 when it took place last year, providing essential funds for the Galway based charity.
The 2022 Night Run was a special occasion, as it saw the Heart & Stroke charity’s popular event return to Salthill for the first time in three years.
The cheque for proceeds raised from the 8th annual night run was presented by Edel McDermott of Irish Life Health to Christine Flanagan, Croí’s Director of Fundraising.
The money raised by the Night Run goes towards supporting initiatives and programmes including Heartlink West, a free community helpline.
It also helps fund the Croí Courtyard Apartments, which are free to families in need while their loved ones receive heart or stroke care.
Irish Life Health serves as the primary sponsor of the event, allowing all proceeds to go directly to supporting the charity’s services.
This year’s event will take place on October 6, 2023, so save the date and get in shape.
