Climbing Croagh Patrick is one of the things that most every Irish person tells themselves they’ll do at least once in their life.

This summer you can take the opportunity to walk the mountain alongside Connacht Rugby players and local hurling legend Noel Lane to support Galway Hospice.

The hospice is holding its 8th annual sponsored climb of Croagh Patrick this June to raise funds for the Renmore care home.

“Over the years, the Croagh Patrick Climb has grown and has created many wonderful memories for all involved,” the hospice said,

“Lifelong friendships have been created and personal goals have been achieved along the way.”

“It might be your 1st time climbing Croagh Patrick or it might be your 100th time, but either way, we promise that you won’t regret it”.

Registrations for this year’s climb are now open, and anyone wating to take part can do so by going to galwayhospice.ie/climb/.

Once you’ve registered you can get in touch with the hospice fundraising team to get your Galway Hospice t-shirts and sponsorship cards.

This climb is taking place on June 15 and is open to all who want to support palliative care in the community, be they individuals, groups, club, or companies.
